THE JOURNEY BEGINS — 8

God created the heaven and the earth. He made the earth to be habitable with the light which differentiates the day from the night and gathering the waters at the appropriate position, making way for the dry land. He then created grass, herb yielding seed, tree yielding fruit and every other living creatures like fishes, fowls and beasts.

Genesis 1:26-28 stated: ‘And God said, Let us make man in our image, and after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.’

Note! God did not tell man to have dominion over his fellow man [male or female]. Truth is the light of men. ‘For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.’ (Psalm 36:9). God created and made everything with His Word.

His Word was His building instrument and material. His Word is the sure foundation. ‘Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste.’ (Isaiah 28:16). After creation, God entered His rest. ‘And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.’ (Genesis 2:3). ——————-To be continued.
