Great grandpa Adam was delinquent in the Garden of Eden. He must have been busy sorting out his own things when the Serpent made a pass on his wife.

I would not blame any man who is very jealous of his wife. There is what is called godly jealousy. ‘For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.’ (2 Corinthians 11:2). God is very jealous of His children. He loves to protect us from the wolf.

Had Adam been mindful of Eve at the first place, the Serpent wouldn’t have made the first pass and thereby bringing untold confusion to mankind.

God’s intention is for us to live in the light of His Word. His Word is truth. His Word was made flesh in the name of Jesus Christ. The alternative is the lie of the enemy (Anything contrary to God’s Word). As the Holy Spirit which proceeds from Jesus Christ is called the Spirit of truth, so also the spirit of lie from Satan is the devil. He does infect human beings with his error.

Just as Jesus is the Son of God, the serpent is the son of Satan and his spirit is the devil. They are one. ‘And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.’ (Revelation 12:9)

But by calling the name of Jesus Christ, you have the authority over his spirit. The Spirit of Christ in you is stronger than any other spirit in the world. You have the ability to cast him out and bring him to the obedience of Jesus Christ.

We need to seek God’s direction based on the kind of work He wants us to be doing. Won’t it be nice if a husband and wife work in the same place? What a fun where you see a Tailor that has a shop with his wife as the Seamstress. Having things in common, is the best way to improve communication. When you feed your wife with the right word and takes care of her needs, the devil has no chance.

The family is the root of the future generation. If the enemy corrupts your seed, what would you expect? God did not create you to compete with others. Your competition should be towards becoming all He wants you to be. Discover and locate your garden and guide it with the power of the Holy Spirit.

There is this Elderly Christian couple I use to visit. They operate a Christian Bookshop. The wife is always at the sales point while sometimes the Husband would be arranging Books when I come around or in his inner office because he is a Publisher as well.

He comes out whenever I am around because He could hear when people enter the shop. Let’s say I told the wife some stuff that is not on his vocabulary, he would definitely come out to correct that impression. Well I put it that the man is taking good care of his garden. Have you discovered yours?

The truth is that there are many males but few men. David told his Son Solomon to be a real man: ‘Now the days of David drew nigh that he should die; and he charged Solomon his son, saying, I go the way of all the earth: be thou strong therefore, and shew thyself a man;’ (1 Kings 2;1-2).

He didn’t ask him to go to the gym and build up muscles so he could beat up anyone that is annoying. But he says, ‘And keep the charge of the LORD thy God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and his testimonies, as it is written in the law of Moses, that thou mayest prosper in all that thou doest, and whithersoever thou turnest thyself:’ (1 Kings 2:3). So every aspiring man must first of all start studying the Scriptures.

Every one of us was born into this world as a sinner because of what Adam did. Our sinful nature is automatic at birth because of the fall of mankind. We all experienced deprivation instead of comfort. When Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, they rejected their true Father while accepting Satan’s fatherhood.

As a result, every human being that would be born thereafter partook in their transgression; a natural born sinner. David prayed in Psalm 51:5, ‘Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.’

Father, I have been negligent to my duty. Help me to know the way forward. Restore my wasted years and renew me with your right Spirit that I may do that which is well pleasing in your sight in Jesus name. Amen. God bless you!

  1. We had the rare honor of discovering that we really do have authority over all the power of the evil one. That’s much too long a story for here, but suffice it to say that with my single, two-edged sword – the Name of Jesus, and the power of His blood – the enemy had to leave. No one was more surprised than I that day!

It’s too bad that we believe that earth is where we don our robes. The truth is that we need to wear our armor on earth. The robes come when we get to heaven!

    Thanks for this excellent study.

    Praise Jesus!

  2. I love the straightforwardness with which you are teaching/sharing the Word of God. I love that you are NOT compromising in what it says as so many “religious teachers” are doing today. I have said it for many years now that Jeremiah would have to apologize to those he chastised in his day for what today has brought, but — in Christ Jesus there is ALWAYS hope and that is my continual prayer.
Also wanted to let you know that you had clicked the “Like” button on my site and it has changed since then. I tried to move everything from the free site to the new hosted site and all I really transferred were the comments.
No need to come by unless you feel the Holy Spirit tug at you, for it is for our Heavenly Father and Christ Jesus I do this, as it is apparent that you do also.
God Bless you greatly, I’ll be following!
